About us

How it all began…

The year 2021: I was looking for a cat because, according to the doctor, petting a cat was the best form of relaxation therapy for my son (who is on the autism spectrum).
Our dog Benito does have very soft fur, but as we all know, two is better than one.

Why a Ragdoll, specifically?

After a few unsuccessful visits to animal shelters, I stumbled upon the Ragdoll breed by chance.
With their semi-long hair and incredibly blue eyes, Ragdolls aren’t just a delight to look at—they also have a charming personality! And my son was especially taken with the Ragdoll’s silky, soft fur—and he wasn’t the only one!

Shortly after, Elvis, a handsome Ragdoll male, moved in with us and has greatly enriched our lives. (Cats = relaxation—though our dog Benito doesn’t quite share that opinion!)
And: Unfortunately—or perhaps fortunately—no one warned me at the time about the risk of becoming addicted to this breed.

What happened next…

Now completely hooked on the breed, I decided to start breeding in 2023.

We now have four Ragdolls, and my son is thrilled because there’s always one ready for a cuddle!

The first litter is now planned for 2026, and we’re already very excited about our first kittens!

Why did it take three years from the decision to breed to the first litter?

As a responsible breeder, there is a lot to learn (about breed standards, rearing, etc.), many administrative procedures and veterinary examinations are required, a suitable association (KKÖ) must be found, and, of course, the search for qualified breeding cats is very time-consuming and costly. After all, you don’t want to breed “just any” Ragdoll, but only with the best cats. Health, temperament, and breed-typical characteristics are the top priorities.

What the future holds…
